The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida is seeking outstanding, motivated faculty members who are interested in starting/continuing a career in academic physiatry. The Department is looking for a board eligible/certified physiatrist interested in joining a rapidly growing PM&R Program at one of the premiere medical centers in the South and a top 5 ranked public University. As we are continuing to grow and expand, we are looking to recruit two (2) new faculty members to join the Department. The consult physicians will manage patient care. Typical patient population will need follow up and management of hypertension, diabetes, Infections- pneumonia, Skin /wound infections, etc. The consultants will work with Physiatry residents and attendings to optimize patient care. They will assist in resident education regarding management of common medical issues seen in an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital.

These positions will be Assistant Professors on a non-tenure accruing track. Salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
