Memorial Healthcare System’s Rehabilitation Institute is seeking BE/BC Physiatrists to join its dedicated team of highly specialized Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians. Memorial Rehabilitation Institute at Memorial Regional Hospital South has been named among U.S. News and World Report 2023 – 2024 Best Hospitals for Rehabilitation ranking #24 nationally, and #2 in Florida. The award is based on a measurement of quality care, clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience. Memorial’s Rehabilitation Institute is South Florida’s largest provider of physical rehabilitation services. Each year, the team of rehabilitation specialists care for more than 2,000 patients and their families. Our physicians have the support of Memorial’s Level I Trauma Center, the Memorial Cancer Institute, the Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute and the Memorial Neuroscience Institute which includes a Neuroscience ICU and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Physiatry
We are seeking a BE/BC Physiatrist that with a clinical focus in either general physical medicine or musculoskeletal medicine. The ideal candidate will have training from an ACGME-accredited program. The candidate will see patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates with an interest in programmatic development, quality initiatives, and academics are welcomed as Memorial Healthcare System accepted its inaugural class of PM&R residents in 2018. This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
We are seeking a BE/BC Physiatrist, with subspeciality training in Interventional Pain/Musculoskeletal Medicine from an ACGME- or NASS-accredited program. The interventional pain medicine practice within the Memorial Rehabilitation Institute is a hospital-based outpatient practice. Our team of specialists utilize minimally invasive procedures, physical therapy, and other modalities along with collaborative patient education and positive lifestyle modifications to reach healthy, positive outcomes. Additionally, the practice has gained recognition for offering effective non-opioid treatment options for chronic pain. The ideal candidate will have robust knowledge in diagnosing and treating patients with pain related to spine, musculoskeletal, and nerve disorders. An interest in teaching is also welcomed, as Memorial Healthcare System accepted its inaugural class of PM&R residents in 2018. This is a full-time employed position with the Memorial Rehabilitation Institute, part of the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group.
