Care Medical - Spine and Pain Center is an independent multi-discipline out-patient center specializing in Interventional Pain Management and Physical Rehabilitation. We are seeking immediate placement for a full time (4-5 days) procedure based Interventional Physiatrist or Interventional Anesthesiologist.  We will have an opening in October 2023 as one of our physicians is moving to take care of a family member with a terminal illness. Care Medical - Spine & Pain Center has 6 locations across south Georgia including a contract providing the Interventional Pain Management services for a hospital.

We have a team of 5 Interventional Pain Management physicians with a 2-3 week waiting list for new patients and over 150 physician new patient referrals each month. There is a great support staff in place with 7 mid-levels to assist in follow ups. 

Full time (4 to 5 day) is preferred but will entertain 2-3 days weekly for immediate placement. Split work days between Tifton & Douglas, GA. We are dedicated to your success by providing a scribe, a medical assistant and a rad tech operating the c-arm to ensure a productive schedule. This position has very minimal medication management and 90% procedures. We are also acquiring an orthopedic spine surgery practice in the next 3 months that will provide additional needs for interventional procedures.

*Full time 4-5 days weekly at a guaranteed up to $450,000 - $562,000 Base Salary plus a 5% Partnership of 6 locations on day 1.

Description

1.   Evaluation & Examination of musculoskeletal referrals 

2.   Order diagnostic testing and correlate clinically (MRI, NCV, EMG, CAT, etc.) 

3.   Oversee patient care and correlate clinically procedures at your discretion

4.   Provide Interventional Pain Management procedures as needed with 2 Procedure Suites in each location

5.   Prescribe PT Rx and monitor Physical Therapy department

6.   Minimal Prescription Pain Management when necessary

7.   Intra-articular visco-supplementation knee injections with fluoroscope (Hyalgan / Genvisc / Orthovisc) 

8.   Evaluation of Personal Injury and Worker’s Comp with procedures

9.   Supervise mid-levels performing intra-articular joint injections
