Medical Director for Spinal Cord Injury Program
Spinal Cord Injury Physician
Weekday shift from 8 am to 5 pm plus variable call coverage
Opportunity for inpatient, consult, and outpatient work at a tertiary rehabilitation center
Ability to grow rehabilitation services in a mature and well-developed department
Option for academic and educational involvement with residents and medical students
Medical Director Candidate Qualifications:
Research interest/experience, and interest in teaching at all trainee levels
BC/BE in spinal cord injury medicine required
Minimum of 2-3 years of prior leadership experience focused on program growth & development
Spinal Cord Injury Candidate Qualifications:
Research interest/experience, and interest in teaching at all trainee levels
BC/BE in spinal cord injury medicine required

Carolinas Rehabilitation (CR), a facility of Atrium Health located in Charlotte, NC, is one of the largest rehabilitation providers in the nation and is known for excellence in clinical care and its academic mission.CR is comprised of four rehabilitation facilities, all located in the Charlotte Metro area.
CR manages 192 acute rehabilitation beds and has established inpatient/outpatient programs in Oncology, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Orthopedics and Amputee Rehabilitation, as well as an extensive network of outpatient MSK/Sports/Spine clinics as part of the Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute. Atrium Health’s network includes numerous acute and specialty care facilities within North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
