Primary Care Physician – Whole Health
VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) is seeking full-time Primary Care Physicians at several VA Boston sites. VA Primary Care Physicians manage a complex panel of patients in collaborative teams. Each physician is assigned three staff: a registered nurse, clinical associate, and scheduler. Panel sizes are approximately 1200 patients per full-time physician and appointment lengths are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for all other appointments. Telephone and video care are encouraged. There is no call, and no weekend or holiday duty. Physicians provide general and gender-specific care to both men and women Veterans that range in age from 18 through the geriatric years.
