The Center for Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care is seeking a board certified/board eligible physiatrist to join our physical medicine & rehabilitation, orthopedic, and neurosurgery practice in Central Oregon. The Center is a physician owned, professionally managed, independent medical practice with over 45 providers.
This position will be will an employed physician serving primarily in an outpatient setting with coverage of a busy concussion management program that includes sports medicine musculoskeletal and industrial medicine. Given this scope of services, the position will see pediatric to elderly patients. The support team includes athletic trainers in all area high schools, neuropsychologists, return-to-learn school coaches, ST, PT, OT and neuro-optometry. Our concussion program is also involved in research partnering with University of Oregon, Oregon State University and OHSU. The concussion program is part of a statewide program for treatment, research and advocacy for brain injury issues. Other responsibilities would include coverage of general rehabilitation outpatient clinics and electrodiagnostics and could include minimal weekend inpatient call of up to 5 times/year.
