Description
Marcus Autism Center is conducting a search for a clinical program director to manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Center's range of skill acquisition programs. Current programs include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Language and Learning Clinic, and Early Intervention. These programs specialize in early, focused, and empirically supported treatments with an emphasis on caregiver involvement in their child's intervention. Treatment strategies are based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis as well as Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions. Clinicians in these programs are also engaged in research to investigate the most effective and efficient ways to target core symptoms of ASD. This position will be responsible for leading year to year planning and execution of clinical care, research, and clinical training within these programs.
We are seeking a leader who is passioniate about managing and supporting a multidisciplinary team of professionals from psychology, speech/language pathology, medicine, and social work to provide high level clinical care as well as continuos innovativation in early intervention and assessment. There will also be opportunities to pursue independent and/or collaborative research as part of a research team that is involved in single-subject research as well as clinical trials and epidemiological studies.
Successful candidates will be an established clinician and researcher in psychology, behavior analysis, psychiatry, or other related speciality with a track record of publications and demonstrated potential for funding. In addition, clinical training and a background in care of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and early intervention programs is required. Ideal candidates will have experience in clinical, training, and research leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* PhD or PsyD, Board Certified Behavior Analyst Doctoral (BCBA-D)* License-eligible or licensed to practice as psychologist in the state of Georgia.* Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing as part of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Professional Staff.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversees clinical care delivery, clinical research and clinical training within the core symptoms programs* Provides clinical service, research and teaching/training as applicable.* Establish, coordinate, and maintain an operational structure which promotes and supports a multi-disciplinary collaborative programs, a participative teamwork environment, innovation, fiscal accountability, strategic planning and development, outcome-focused goal setting, adequate and effective resource allocation and customer satisfaction.* Work with Marcus Autism Center leaders on development and monitoring of strategic vision, annual goals, program deliverables and financial management.* Ensure compliance of all responsible areas with internal policies and procedures and all regulatory agency requirements and standards affecting the operations of the programs.* Supervises psychologists, clinical program managers and may supervise patient care staff * Effectively manage employee performance and encourage professional development of assigned staff by supporting participation in educational programs, professional organizations, and activities to promote competencies, develop and build job related skills, and promote internal leadership.* Work with program managers to develop and monitor annual operating budget for focus areas.* Establish clear goals and expectations, and lead team to achieve goals and meet expectations.* Responsible for monitoring and reporting critical success factors as determined through annual goals process or in compliance with grant/contract/spending policy stipulation.
