The Section Chief of Specialty Medicine will provide administrative, clinical, and programmatic leadership for the section to maintain clinical and educational excellence, as monitored by various VHA metrics. Ensure subordinate staff compliance with regulations, medical staff by laws, facility policies, Joint Commission standards, performance metrics, and appropriate regulations, including the provider professional evaluation process. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement.
