MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with Obstetrics to join a family-focused team at Palo Alto County Health System located in Emmetsburg, Iowa.

Physicians in the group admit to Palo Alto County Health System's hospital, a 25-bed critical access rural hospital with 467 annual admissions, 114 births, 22,126 outpatient visits, 5,258 specialty clinic visits and primary care clinic visits of 34,636.

Palo Alto County Health System is aggressively pursuing market share to ensure a thriving Family Practice/OB practice. Two surrounding counties do not offer OB services and Palo Alto County Health System would like to support them.

The selected candidate will work in a modern medical facility and have an opportunity to perform Obstetrics and C-section as well as work Emergency Department shifts. This opportunity offers an excellent work/life balance.

Palo Alto County Health System (PACHS) - Palo Alto County Hospital is a modern 25 bed licensed critical access hospital. The hospital has been located at its present facility since 1965 but has a rich history of caring for the medical needs of residents in various locations dating back to 1921.
