As a Manhattan Pain Fellow, you will tackle a wide variety of interesting challenges, and uncover key insights that will drive positive outcomes for our patients. Modern office space with cutting-edge technology and mature EMR, allows physicians to access from home. The support staff is robust allowing you to focus on patient care and procedures. With over 17 clinics across New York City, Manhattan Restorative Health Sciences (MRHS) is New York’s leading group of award-winning medical centers specializing in advanced body and mind treatment plans and the development of related clinical research. We employ a range of nationally renowned physicians and specialists to perform minimally invasive procedures for our patients, including Pain Management, Advanced Interventional Treatments, Regenerative Medicine, and Integrative Wellness Therapies. We focus on the complex interplay between mental and physical symptoms, developing innovative treatment plans that promote longevity and offer our patients superior restorative health outcomes.
MRHS physicians perform thousands of procedures each year which provides a learning opportunity for fellows in our program. We pattern the experience after our own fellowship training at Harvard Medical School with the intent of giving trainees in the program exposure to the fullest scope ranging from the simple to the most cutting-edge complex interventional sports and minimally invasive spine procedures.
Responsibilities:
Exposure to advanced interventional procedures including SCS, PNS, Kyphoplasty, Intracept, Vertiflex, mild, Percutaneous, and Endoscopic Discectomy, BMAC, and complex regenerative approaches as well as innovative concepts such as Ketamine Virtual Reality therapy
Less than 5% opioid management in practice
The Fellowship program starts on January 1 and July 1 annually. The program lasts 12 months with an option for an 18-month advanced program emphasizing minimally invasive advanced spine procedures
Qualifications:
PMR, Anesthesiology, Neurology, or Psychiatry resident
Candidates must be BC/BE in their primary specialty and be prepared to sit for the American Board of Pain Medicine exam
Bilingual Spanish and English are preferred
Must be willing to travel to some satellite offices, therefore, a car is helpful. We have locations in all five boroughs and Long Island
