Northwestern Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a Physical Medicine & Rehab physician with a focus on Musculoskeletal.  Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group (NMRMG) is seeking a BE/BC, PM&R physician to join our team at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, IL, located in Chicago’s western suburbs.

Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Northwestern Medicine, provides intensive physical medicine and rehabilitation to individuals who have experienced an illness or injury.  Specialty programs focused on stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, pediatric, orthopaedic/musculoskeletal, pain and neuromuscular disorders.  Highlights of the position:

• Medical Director of Musculoskeletal acute inpatient rehab unit including care of amputations, fractures, spinal conditions, and multiple trauma
• Outpatient clinic to include multidisciplinary orthotic and prosthetic clinic
• Outpatient musculoskeletal medicine clinic that could include ultrasound guided injections and other interventional pain injections
• Work with and educate Resident physicians
• Partner to develop strategies for best practice, outcomes and better service in the community
• Hi-tech Neurorehabilitation
