A highly regarded Spine Program is actively seeking an Interventional Spine-focused Physiatrist to join their busy and successful practice. The candidate will work in a highly efficient Spine Clinic serving our community in the heart of California’s “Gold Country” and serving two counties but drawing patients up and down the west coast.  The incoming physician will join our existing team of Spine Surgeons and PAs to provide conservative spine care in an established clinic that is connected to the hospital. The incoming physiatrist will step into an established and busy turnkey practice with a smoothly operating referral and patient system (The outgoing provider has been with the practice for 11 years and is earning at over the 90^th percentile MGMA – moving for family reasons).  Procedures are done at a nearby hospital-owned surgery center dedicated to interventional pain procedures.

This position begins as salary, quickly able to transition to a production model as you exceed the generous starting salary.  The ideal candidate will be experienced, but new fellows are welcome and absolutely encouraged to apply!

The location is an idyllic town on the Western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. Fondly known as “gold country”, it is located within 2.5 hours to everything: Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley, San Francisco and the coast. For outdoor enthusiasts, you would be at the gateway to Yosemite National Park. Abundant local recreational activities include snow skiing at local ski resorts, fishing, and water sports on local lakes, as well as numerous hiking and mountain biking trails.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BC/BE in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Fellowship-trained in Interventional Spine Procedures
• CA licensed (or eligible and meeting the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards)
