Senior Psychiatrist (Supervisor) – (Statewide)

$305,988 - $364,524 annual salary (Board Certified)

$299,544 - $355,992 annual salary (Board Eligible)

California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking proactive, knowledgeable CA-licensed psychiatrists to provide clinical leadership to multidisciplinary teams of mental health professionals within one of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s facilities.

In this key position, you will:

• Consult with a team of mental health professionals, custody, and administrative personnel to resolve patient diagnostic problems, behavior and housing issues; conduct the more complex inmate assessments and respond to appeals
• Participate in the hiring process for psychiatry applicants, including coordinating onboarding and training activities; complete employee performance reviews and development plans
• Review and evaluate the clinical program, including reports and statistics; perform special assignments as requested by the Chief Psychiatrist
