Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an outstanding, academic BC/BE Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgeon to join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, within the Department of Surgery in the fast growing Temple, TX region.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience preferred, but not required
- Fellowship trained in Microsurgery
- Interest in Maxillo-Facial trauma preferred
- Privileges at our ACS verified Level I Trauma facility in Temple, TX
- Join a team of five fellowship trained plastic surgeons
- Large plastic surgery residency program with resident coverage at all times
- Free-standing Cosmetic Surgery Center associated with Dermatology
- Call schedule is evenly divided
- Interest in entrepreneurial and leadership opportunities
We are actively involved in medical student and resident education. We also have an active research division with appointment of a full time research fellow. Academic appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor through Texas A&M College of Medicine will be determined by experience and qualifications.
This position would cover all aspects of microsurgery and general reconstruction including but not limited to: post-oncologic breast reconstruction, Head and Neck reconstruction, trunk and extremity trauma reconstruction, lymphatic surgery, body contouring surgery, cosmetic surgery and general plastic surgery. The Cosmetic Surgery Center of Scott and White is part of Baylor Scott and White Health, the largest multi-specialty practice in Texas. As the largest cosmetic surgery practice in Central Texas, we offer a variety of aesthetic care and cosmetic surgical solutions and is the largest cosmetic surgery practice in Central Texas. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her speciality or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
