The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center is looking to hire a full time, board certified general physiatrist.  Montefiore is a large and expanding healthcare system based in The Bronx with multiple locations throughout Westchester, Rockland and Orange Counties.  

Our Department is made up of one of the largest and most diverse faculties in the Northeast Region.  In addition, the department has a strong education component, supporting 27 residents and approximately 12 fellows each academic year. Our faculty members have diverse interests including ultrasound guided procedures, general musculoskeletal care, neuro-rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, as well as spasticity management, prosthetics and orthotics, and others.  

This role may include a variety of responsibilities which may include outpatient general physiatry, inpatient acute rehab care and consultation services.

Montefiore Medical Center (MMC) is the University Hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is a premier academic medical center located in New York City. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at MMC has been home to many leaders in our field over the years. We are a large faculty with diverse interests which are well suited to meet the many needs of the diverse population which we serve throughout the Bronx and Hudson Valley. The departments supports a training program of 27 residents as well as three ACGME accredited fellowships and 2 non-accredited fellowships. The opportunities within the Department of PM&R at Montefiore are endless as we strive to meet all the physiatric needs of our community.
