The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) invites highly motivated and innovative Physiatrists to join our faculty.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established program providing services to patients of all ages.  Opportunities exist in the following areas:

• Spine – a new interdisciplinary clinic with neurosurgical, orthopaedic surgical, anesthesia/pain and PM&R colleagues
• Neuro-rehabilitation – outpatient and inpatient care: EMG; spasticity management and ultrasound
• Pediatric rehabilitation – fellowship trained pediatric physiatrist to provide inpatient/outpatient clinical care as second physiatrist in the Department

We are proud to partner with Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, Omaha Children’s Hospital and Medical Center and the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. 

The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Candidates should have outstanding interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for patient care, medical student and resident education. Our compensation package is extremely competitive.  In addition, comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance are offered. Academic rank is dependent on qualifications.
