A wonderful opportunity is available for a PA or NP that has experience and/or previous exposure working with Pain Management Physicians. The DMC Medical Group & The Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan – DMC is actively recruiting individuals that have worked in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or experience in the field of, neurology, ortho sports medicine, and/or neurosurgery to join our team of physicians. This experience can be obtained either through training rotations or work experience. In this role you will not only work with the top tier physicians within our Pain Management program, but you will also have an opportunity to be trained to see patients on your own providing neurological exams. We will provide an atmosphere for further training to conducts procedures alongside of our physicians. This is a very busy, outpatient practice seeing roughly 30-35 patients per day; PM&R call is required on (rotating) weekends along with the Pain Management physician that is on call. Procedures include epidural steroid injections using x-ray or ultrasound imaging; medial branch blocks/facet joint injections. Provides direct patient care including gathering detailed H&P and physical exams.
