NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn located at 150 55th Street Brooklyn, NY 11220 has a full-time faculty position for a Board Certified Physiatrist (PM&R) interested in inpatient rehabilitation.
This position is accountable for providing day-to-day medical care, rehabilitation team guidance, and medical leadership for inpatient rehabilitation unit. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of inpatient rehabilitation management. The position reports directly to the Rehabilitation Medicine Chief of Service. The position includes participation on relevant departmental and hospital committees as assigned. Weekend (1 in 4) on-call rotation is required. Dedicated IM Hospitalists cover medical needs of patients during evenings and overnight.
Candidates must be Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. A current, active and unrestricted Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license to practice in NY and current DEA License is required. All candidates should have demonstrated interests in academics, research and teaching residents, students and fellows. Faculty rank and compensation is commensurate with experience.
