The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute’s Center for Spine Health announces its search for a Spine Medicine Interventionalist.

The Center for Spine Health is a uniquely integrated team of neurosurgical and orthopedic spine surgeons and medical spine specialists whose training in physiatry, pain management, interventions, rheumatology, osteopathic manipulation, and acupuncture provide comprehensive care to patients with spine issues. Over 20 advanced practice providers, chronic pain rehabilitation specialists, and specialty care nurse care coordinators work collaboratively to ensure seamless care for spine patients across the continuum. The Center features fellowship programs in both spine surgery and spine medicine, the former of which is the largest in the United States.
This position would involve a collaborative clinical and surgical practice and would also require participation in resident and fellow teaching as well as basic, translational, biomechanical and/or clinical research. Clinicians in the Center for Spine Health work closely with other specialists in the Neurological Institute, particularly in the Center for Neuroimaging to provide evidence-informed, comprehensive world class spine care.

The department's commitment to helping patients maintain good health and improve function extends through outpatient clinics, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and consultation in skilled nursing facilities. The clinical staff is charged with teaching the principles of rehabilitation care to over 1,000 Cleveland Clinic residents and fellows, and to the medical students of Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Case Western Reserve University. Our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program, inaugurated in 2016, is the capstone of this effort.
