Hennepin Healthcare has an opportunity available for (full or part-time) PM&R Physician. Position will involved both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with potential eligibility for an academic appointment with the University of Minnesota.
Candidates with interest in botulinum toxin injection for spasticity management/migraine are encouraged to apply.
Inpatient care will involve performing hospital consultations. May provide care for an average of 10 patients per half-day in our 18 bed CARF accredited acute rehabilitation unit
Outpatient responsibilities involve providing care for a wide variety of patients with neurological and/or musculoskeletal disorders.
EMG's are optional
Opportunities for medical student/resident
Must possess (or be eligible for) a current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
If Board Eligible, must be Board Certified within 4 years from the date of completion of the applicable residency, fellowship or training program
Current D.E.A. Certificate or be eligible for certificate
Current hospital credentials
Current Life Support Certification or complete course within 2 months of hire
