This position would involve providing direct patient care to the program’s brain injury patients as well as leading the continued coordination and programmatic development of a very busy, well established brain injury program which comprises specialized programs for patients with disorders of consciousness all the way through to outpatient brain injury day treatment and wellness. The medical director would be involved in continuing to expand program services both inpatient and outpatient as well as enhancing clinical outcomes. There would also be the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive spasticity management program, research and teaching of residents and students.
