Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University are seeking a full-time Chief and Chair for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a part of the Cooper Neurological Institute, a rapidly growing and dynamic clinical team that provides the most comprehensive spectrum of neurological services to a diverse and complex patient population. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation provides a broad array of services, including medical, procedural, and alternative therapies, to meet the needs of our patients. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, community outreach, student and resident education, and clinical research. Recruitment of an innovative and collaborative leader will be essential for ongoing growth and to deepening integration with other departments to ensure a comprehensive multidisciplinary cutting-edge approach to patient care.
Applicants should be board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Preference will be given to those demonstrating excellence in patient care, enthusiasm for medical student and resident education, and interest in clinical or translational research. This position will include clinical obligations including the opportunity to work with local rehabilitation centers. Candidates are eligible for a faculty appointment at a level commensurate with their experience and accomplishments at Cooper Medical School at Rowan University.
