The Rochester Regional Health Interventional Spine, Pain & Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to receive spine, pain medicine, cancer pain, cancer rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal medicine graduate training through our fellowship program. We have an integrated, interdisciplinary practice, including Physiatrists, Anesthesiologists, Physical Therapists, Neurosurgeons, and Behavioral Health providers.
Our fellows are trained comprehensively - we focus not only on fluoroscopically and ultrasound-guided procedural techniques, but also on diagnostics, physical examination, spine and overall wellness, radiographic interpretation, pharmacologic therapies, and more. Fellows have opportunities to work in palliative care, radiology, physical therapy, and integrative medicine.
Goals of the Fellowship
To train the next generation of interventional pain and musculoskeletal medicine specialists.
To educate fellows in the full spectrum of comprehensive pain management.
To contribute towards continued development of clinical research in areas of spine, cancer pain & neuromodulation.
We are now accepting CVs from PMR, Anesthesiology, Family Medicine, neurology, and Emergency Medicine for our 12month non-accredited Interventional Pain & Musculoskeletal medicine Fellowship program. Candidates must be BC/BE in their primary specialty and will be prepared to sit for the American Board of Pain Medicine exam.Along with this application, please send your Medical School Transcript, USMLE Scores, Curriculum Vitae, Personal Statement, and at least 3 current letters of recommendation. One of these letters must be from your present Department or Division Chair.
