The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine, seeks a board certified/board eligible PM&R physician to provide care in occupational medicine, act as the Medical Review Officer, and provide outpatient PM&R clinical care. The occupational medicine clinic is located in Vidant Medical Center and local occupational medicine satellite locations. The candidate will see and treat work-related injuries, provide fitness for duty evaluations, and follow best practice guidelines related to return to work national benchmarks. The PM&R clinical care to be provided include opportunities of musculoskeletal care, musculoskeletal ultrasound, Botox, baclofen, EMG, SSEP, VEP, phenol blocks, and wound/hyperbaric medicine. The candidate will participate in the training of residents, medical students, and other allied health students. Research is supported and is a valued component of the position. This is a fixed term position.
