A not-for-profit hospital system is looking for a General IP/OP Physiatrist at a level one trauma center with a ~30 bed rehab unit that’s growing as they are in the process nearly doubling our rehab beds. The current Medical Director is supported by two general physiatrists and a nurse practitioner. The team is looking for another motivated team-member to come on-board and help us manage the growth! We can design the practice to suit your ideal practice style: 100% Inpatient or we can give you a 50% - 50% split in inpatient and outpatient duties. Our expert team can support you going in many directions while you develop your niche, so you'll have a challenging and rewarding practice quickly.
There’s built-up demand in the area for rehab in general – TBI, BI, and SCI in particular - fellowship is a plus, but not necessary. The administration understands the importance of rehab and they’ll market you to the community to keep the momentum going. The supportive administration is willing to build necessary clinics for the incoming physiatrist. Acute rehab is augmented by the presence of numerous specialty therapy programs and a SNF. If you have a personal interest in EMGs, Botox, or even Spine, then we can get the clinics set up for you easily.
The community is a four-season destination full of unexpected delights. There’s truly something for everyone: several internationally recognized festivals, minor league sports, live performances, convenient shopping options, weekend getaways, and ample options for outdoor exploration with hundreds of miles of trails. The last couple of decades have yielded tremendous growth as the city grows in height and in opportunities for residents. The area is experiencing a wave of momentum that’s being recognized by national publications as it’s been named to multiple top 10 lists in just the last two years: best place for business and careers, top city with a low cost of living and high quality of life, most popular city for millennial home buyers, best place to live, best job market for 2018, up and coming tech hot spots…the list keeps on going! No matter what you’re looking for, there’s an excellent chance that you’ll find it here.
