The University of Iowa Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation is seeking a physiatrist to join our growing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation group. This position will provide nonsurgical specialty spine care to an existing population and strong referral base of patients with acute and chronic spine conditions.
The position offers:
Outpatient spine practice
Opportunity for interventional spine practice
Opportunity to participate in the interdisciplinary pain rehab program of the UI Hospitals & Clinics Spine Center
Potential for additional opportunities in EMG, general physiatry, MSK
Strong support for research and educational activities with medical students and non-PM&R rotating residents and fellows
Qualified candidates must show successful completion of a degree from an accredited medical school with excellent clinical and academic credentials. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in PM&R. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in pain/ interventional spine.
