The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston is seeking faculty members to join a dynamic group of physiatrists. In partnership with TIRR Memorial HermannRehabilitation Network and Memorial Hermann Hospital System, consistently ranked among the best rehabilitation hospitals by the U.S. News and World Report. UTHealth PM&R Department offers abundant clinical, academic, and administrative leadership opportunities. The department is looking for board certified/eligible physiatrists, who are driven and desirous of being part of a rapidly growing department based at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center. Candidates should possess outstanding clinical and interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
Position Key Accountabilities: Candidate should possess outstanding clinical, interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with excellent administrative and organizational abilities. In addition to clinical and administrative duties, this position also requires teaching responsibilities such as teaching Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents, fellows, medical students, and physical therapy students.
Minimum Qualifications: The department is looking for a physician who is Board certified in Physical Medical and Rehabilitation and has a Texas Medical License or ability to obtain a Texas Medical license.
