The Center for Integrated Spine and Pain Care at Dartmouth Hitchcock Health seeks a board-certified physician medicine and rehabilitation specialists. This is clinical position for the care of pain and spine. The Center is unique in that it provides comprehensive care through multiple modalities including: ambulatory assessment, Physical therapy (McKenzie specialist), Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Functional Restoration Program, Occupational Medicine, Pain Medicine, Interventional Procedures, and Surgical Intervention. Providers include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social work, therapists, anesthesia pain, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurosurgeons, and orthopedic spine surgeons.
The provider will be working in the outpatient setting. The provider is expected to engage in the multidisciplinary aspects of clinical care and the care of general outpatient pain and spine patients. Experience in EMG’s is helpful. Experience in pain management is beneficial as well.
Qualified applicants must be board eligible/certified in Physical Medicine. The successful candidate will have a faculty appointment at Geisel School of Medicine and will be expected to participate in the academic and research activities of the medical school and pain and spine center including weekly conferences and resident education.
