The Rehabilitation Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time physiatrist. This position offers academically oriented candidates an exciting opportunity to join a growing physical medicine and rehabilitation program within our cancer center. The individual will join an established clinical structure which provides a full spectrum of rehabilitation services for adults and children, including an inpatient consultation service, outpatient clinics and multispecialty coordinated clinics.
This position will have responsibilities at our New York City main campus, with an emphasis on inpatient consultation, as well as outpatient clinic activity at Manhattan and/or Nassau County, NY MSK facilities. All faculty participate in the educational and research programs of the Service including the education of Cancer Rehabilitation fellows at MSK, and the training of PM&R residents from the Cornell-Columbia-NYP programs. Opportunities for career development are excellent. Candidates for this position should have competence in neuromuscular, musculoskeletal medicine and preferably have fellowship training or experience in cancer rehabilitation. Competence in electrodiagnostic medicine is desirable but not required. The individual must be BC/BE in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
