The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is proud to announce a new opening for an outstanding general physiatrist and medical director to lead our new community division of PM&R. The practice location includes Community Memorial Hospital, a 200+ bed hospital, which offers a state-of-the-art, 17 bed CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit focusing on providing the best quality care in order to return our patients to independent living. The CMH Stroke Specialty Program, a rehabilitation program designed specifically to meet the unique needs of stroke patients, has earned CARF accreditation. This faculty position offers excellent programmatic growth and leadership. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience in providing comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, has leadership experience and initiative to advance a comprehensive inpatient, consultative and outpatient PM&R practice. This position is offered as a faculty position within the MCP (Medical College Physicians) PM&R department, highlighting the collaboration with academic PM&R.
