Terms and Conditions
The following "Terms and Conditions" may be modified by AAPM&R. Employers will be required to agree to these terms before continuing to their online account:
  • The Company shall be responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, completeness and removal of any employment requirements that are placed on the Physiatrists' Job Board.
  • The Company shall present on the Physiatrists' Job Board only genuine existing employment requirements with the Company.
  • AAPM&R assumes no responsibility or liability for any personnel selected by the Company and the Company represents that any selection, retention or hire of any individual or entity is based solely on the Company's investigation, verification and determination that such hire is suitable for the Company's purposes.
  • The Company agrees to hold harmless AAPM&R from any claims, damages or losses incurred by the Company or any other party as a result of use of the Physiatrists' Job Board.
  • AAPM&R reserves the right to remove the job posting(s) if an arrangement for the billing process has not been met within a 24-hour period of posting.
  • AAPM&R reserves the right to edit all employment advertisements, but will review any such edited advertisements with the Company prior to publication.
  • No advertisement submitted by the Company shall reflect, imply or contribute to any discriminatory actions, practices or improper bias. AAPM&R reserves the right to edit any advertisement to remove any such offending language or implication.
  • The Company shall take sole responsibility to assure that the content of its advertising is true and accurate and conforms to all applicable laws, standards and regulations and the Company represents and warrants to AAPM&R that it has all necessary authorization for the placement of the entire content of its advertising within the site. AAPM&R may however decline any advertising or discontinue further publication of any advertising, at any time and for any reason, and shall not be liable in any manner as a result of such action, except to refund a prorated portion of any unused prepaid subscription.
  • The appearance of advertising or marketing of any kind in the AAPM&R publication "The Physiatrist" and/or on the AAPM&R Web site is not an endorsement or guarantee of the product or service being advertised or of the claims made for the product or service by the advertiser.
  • AAPM&R shall be the sole judge of the suitability of materials for advertising, and does not accept advertising in The Physiatrist/Web site for the following purposes:
    • Announcements of educational programs, equipment, or other products and services not related in some way to the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
    • Announcements of products/services/positions mentioning prices or explicit compensation figures.
    • Membership recruitment or related promotions for external organizations.
    • Only AAPM&R members may advertise their resume.
    • Ads supplied to AAPM&R which require additional typesetting, edits, layout, color separation or film work are subject to additional charges.
  • Advertising rates are non-commissionable. No agency commission is paid.
  • All ads will be reviewed for approval. AAPM&R reserves the right decline, withdraw, or edit advertisements not in keeping with AAPM&R's standards or purpose. Every care is taken to avoid mistakes but responsibility cannot be accepted by AAPM&R for clerical or printer errors. Ads may not discriminate on the basis of gender or ethnic background. All advertising is paid, and is neither endorsed nor warranted by AAPM&R. Ads may not use the AAPM&R name or logo without prior written consent. Advertisers agree to indemnify and protect the Academy from any claim or action based on the content of advertisements published. FDA status of medical devices mentioned must be included.
  • Unless return is requested, original art and copy will be destroyed six months after publication.
  • AAPM&R will not be bound by conditions printed or appearing on order blanks or copy instructions that conflict with provisions on its rate card.
  • AAPM&R shall not act as a broker through an advertisement for any product or service not manufactured or provided directly by the party named in the advertisement.
  • Brokers placing ads on behalf of a client assume total responsibility for on-time payment to AAPM&R, regardless of the client's payment standing with the broker. All advertising rates are non commissionable. Payment is due upon receipt, and is past due 30 days after billing date. A client/broker with three or more unpaid invoices from any combination of AAPM&R advertising options will have their advertising dropped without warning. Reinstatement requires the payment of all but the last outstanding invoice.
  • AAPM&R is not responsible for proration in the case of "downtime" on the AAPM&R Web site.
  • Job Postings deleted by the employer before package end are not prorated or refunded in any way.
