The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a full time board certified or board eligible specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine to join a robust and busy University Department with a strong commitment to education and research. This position is primarily based at the VA Maryland Health Care System in Baltimore delivering primary musculoskeletal care. In addition, development of an outpatient practice in musculoskeletal care with both interventional and non-interventional components. Successful candidates will express interest in treating patients with a broad range of musculoskeletal complaints. Expertise in use of ultrasound for diagnosis and treatment is preferred; along with a history of clinical or basic science research and an interest to continue to be involved in scientific investigation. Participation in medical student educational activities is expected.
