The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan, Michigan Medicine, is seeking a Program Director for its core physician residency program. The successful candidate will direct one of the nation’s leading training programs in the field. The next Program Director will:
Lead the PM&R residency program to greater recognition through innovation and educational achievement;
Recruit a diverse group of highly qualified trainees;
Attain a leadership role in Graduate Medical Education (GME) regionally and nationally;
Demonstrate scholarly achievement in GME;
Collaborate with other medical and allied health educational programs.
Participate in departmental medical student programming
Candidates for Program Director must be board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and have at least five years post-residency experience with an ACGME approved PM&R training program. The Department has a broad clinical program which will provide the candidate clinical time in their area of sub-specialty. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials.
