We provide a comprehensive interventional spine, sports and musculoskeletal medicine education to academic or private practice inclined physiatrists who wish to bring clinical excellence to their careers.
Emphasis is placed on selection of appropriate patients based on a comprehensive neuromusculoskeletal evaluation including history, physical examination and diagnostic image interpretation. When appropriate, diagnostic ultrasound and therapeutic image-guided procedures are incorporated into a comprehensive rehabilitation program. Currently, over fifty image-guided procedures are performed weekly.
We are in the process of attaining ACGME Sports accreditation with our Sinai Baltimore PM&R affiliation. Sports experience includes Concussion Clinic and team coverage of the York Revolution Professional Baseball Team, local high schools, and York College.
Fellows are encouraged and expected to work on a significant musculoskeletal research project. Past and current fellows have been co-authors on peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters.
