Saint Luke’s Hospital/University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine is seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician who is BC/BE in both PM & R and pain management at the Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor level to join our section in Pain Management, located in the Pain Management Clinic within Saint Luke’s Hospital (SLH). Prospective candidates ideally should have 1-5 years clinical experience in pain management and/or be fellowship trained/currently enrolled in an ACGME approved pain management fellowship program. Currently the clinic is staffed and equipped to provide state of the art care in pain management; we plan to expand both in space and providers in the coming months to be able to offer a comprehensive and integrated program in pain management that envisions behavioral medicine and complementary and alternative modalities. Prospective candidates should share in our vision of providing a comprehensive approach to Pain Management that returns patients to functionality. Of particular note, our neurology and neurosurgery colleagues are integral members of the Saint Luke’s approach to Pain Management, and have collaborated to create a comprehensive Spine Center within the Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute at SLH. Saint Luke’s Hospital is USNWR nationally ranked in seven specialties. Collaborative research involvement with other members of the Neuroscience Institute is available and will be encouraged.
