Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is recruiting two BE/BC Physiatrists to join our PM&R team. We have opportunities in Seattle and on the Eastside.
The section of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Virginia Mason Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Physiatrist, to join their coordinated team approach to rehabilitation. The section provides musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation services as well as a cancer rehabilitation and work conditioning program with a full complement of rehabilitation providers. Our positions are mainly outpatient and will focus on musculoskeletal and general rehab.
This position would work both at our main practice at our downtown Seattle location as well as our regional clinics, providing clinical services, as well as, program development and quality improvement within our Physical Medicine services lines. Our approach to healthcare includes interdisciplinary care with natural health alternatives including massage and naturopathy.. Our section has been instrumental in the award winning team-based “Seattle Spine Clinic” approach to managing patients with spine conditions (http://www.spine-deformity.org/article/S2212-134X(13)00198-6/abstract).
We are seeking a strong enthusiastic physiatrist who can embrace change, possesses strong leadership traits and who can become an integral partner of our team. Teaching and research opportunities are available. Call is every 5-6 weeks. A good sense of humor is a plus. Position to be based in Seattle and/or on the Eastside.
