This is a private practice based outpatient fellowship program in spine interventional and musculoskeletal pain medicine. The program director has a clinical appointment from Rutgers University, New Jersey Medical School. The program focuses on intensive and large volumes of clinical training in image guided spine and joint injection techniques using cutting edge medical technology. Evidence based medicine will be used in clinical training wherever applicable. Fellows have the opportunity and option to teach medical students and/or residents rotating through the office. Research presentations and publication opportunities are available, optional, and will be funded by this institution. There are no calls or inpatient responsibilities.
Cervical, thoracic and lumbar epidural steroid injections (transforaminal, interlaminar and caudal)
Cervical, thoracic and lumbar medial branch blocks and facet joint injections.
Radiofrequency ablation to the medial branches of cervical, thoracic and lumbar dorsal rami
Cervical, thoracic and lumbar discography & sympathetic nerve blocks
Spinal cord stimulation (trial) and implantation (with a surgeon)
MSK US or fluoroscopic guided joint injections
Regenerative Medicine (PRP and stem cells for joint and intradiscal treatment)
Endoscopic lumbar discectomy (with a surgeon)
