The Michigan Medicine/University of Michigan Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking board qualified or board eligible physiatrist for academic faculty positions, in several core areas, including:
Complex Medical Rehabilitation
Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation
Spine/Interventional Spine Care
Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree and must have completed an accredited physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program. Fellowship training, where is applicable, is desirable. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials. Primary duties will be to provide excellent patient care, including inpatient and outpatient management including sub-acute care, and physiatric procedures, as appropriate for each sub-specialty. The position also involves teaching fellows, residents and students, and collaboration on research projects.
